Rocks Lose Again, 8-4, to Buzz
|
Scott Ramsey made an impact in the 8-4 Salt Lake City win over Plymouth. Ramsey, who is tied for 3rd in the PAAA in bases on balls with 40, went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Shotaro Sugahara notched his 5th save in 6 chances. The Rocks, now 25-35, have lost 8 in a row.
The Buzz got a big at-bat from right fielder Oliver Aranda. For the game, Aranda went 2 for 5 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season gave Salt Lake City a 3-2 lead.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Salt Lake City manager Allen Bartlett.
