Longnecks Reel Off Another Win
Bloomington Longnecks starter Pierre Levegh turned in an exceptional performance against the Salt Lake City Buzz at Lookouts Ballpark, resulting in a Bloomington win, 3-2. Levegh, now 7-4, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. Getting the save was Fernando Ramírez, his 4th.

Early in the game, designated hitter Calvin Wilms had a 2-run single for Bloomington. It was his 48th hit of the season and put the Longnecks on top, 2-1.

"It feels good to get this one," Wilms told the Bloomington Today.
