Dogfish Head Throttle Hotspur Reserves, 6-1
|
The Milton Dogfish Head knocked off the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves, 6-1, at Thunderbirds Stadium. Ed Lastinger, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Milton won. The designated hitter was 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs. Milton occupies last place in the Premier AAA at 17-30.
Lastinger had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Dogfish Head went on to win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Lastinger.
