|
Miguel Montoya added some punch to the Milton offense, helping them outmuscle the Salt Lake City Buzz, 9-8. In the game, Montoya, who is rated as the 88th best prospect by BNN, was 3-5 with 3 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Adrian Neumann closed the door for Milton, picking up his 1st save of the year. Milton is now 13-27.
Milton took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, Enrique Costello hit a run-scoring single to make it 7-6, Dogfish Head.
"We had the game right there for the taking," said Salt Lake City manager Allen Bartlett. "But we decided not to take it."
