Dogfish Head Come Back Late to Top Drummers

The Milton Dogfish Head beat the Tortolita Drummers, 7-4, at Drummers Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of right fielder Enrique Rocha, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. Vincente Ortíz earned his 5th save in 5 tries. Milton currently is in last place in the Premier AAA at 12-25.
Had Tony Walsh not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Walsh hit a 2-run double. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Dogfish Head.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Rocha.
