The Milton Dogfish Head bested the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves, 7-4, at Milton Corner Tavern. Miguel Montoya was named player of the game. He went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times. The save went to Vincente Ortíz, his 2nd this season. Even with the win, the Dogfish Head have a dismal 8-19 record.
In the bottom of the first inning, catcher Shoin Takuda came through big-time for the Dogfish Head. With Milton trailing 2-0, he belted a 2-run home run.
