Caterpillars Turn Back Niagara Falls, 4-2

Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Niagara Falls Expos home opener. Mark Clift started for the home team against Miguel Ávila for the Grand Forks Caterpillars. The Expos were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 4-2, Grand Forks. Miguel Ávila was named player of the game. Ávila picked up the win for Grand Forks, going 8.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0.
