The Bethesda Atoms defeated the Lancaster Farmers, 4-1, in M3L Double A action at Atoms Field, with Bethesda pitcher Will O'Slattery named player of the game. Bethesda reliever Will O'Slattery was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Peace Addo took the loss for Lancaster. Hakan Yilmanz notched his 15th save in 17 chances.
The Atoms had to work out of trouble in the top of the sixth. The score was 2-0, Bethesda, with one out. Lancaster, with runners on 1st and 3rd, was mounting a threat. Domingo Altamiraño dug in at the plate, but on a 1-0 fastball, he hit into a double play.
