Michel hits 11th home run as Polar Bears Squeeze Past Yakima

The Billings Polar Bears turned back the Yakima Hops, 6-5, at The Igloo. Ludovic Michel was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Billings reliever Francisco López picked up the win to move to 1-1. Otto Joseph suffered the loss. The Polar Bears now have a mark of 24-32.
Michel had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-1 changeup from Otto Joseph, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Polar Bears a 6-5 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Michel.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Michel told the Billings Bulletin.
