Divided Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Rainbow Mermaids
D.C. beat Northern Virginia at Washington Stadium, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to third baseman Arturo Rodríguez, who earned player of the game honors. The Divided raised their record to 28-47.

Rodríguez had a game-changing single in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-2 changeup from Iván García, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Divided a 6-5 lead. It was the 73rd hit of the year for Rodríguez.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Rodríguez said.
