Ghosts Knock Off Grasshoppers at Field of the Grasshoppers

The Casper Ghosts bested the San Bernardino Grasshoppers by a score of 5-3, with left fielder Ronald Anderson getting the main credit. On the day, Anderson was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk for the Ghosts. Casper reliever Ángelo Román got the win, raising his record to 4-1. Enrique Arrabal was tagged with the loss. Wong Fei-Hung recorded his 4th save for Casper.
Early in the game, center fielder Bert Cook had a run-scoring single for Casper. It was his 4th hit of the season and put the Ghosts on top, 1-0.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Casper manager Pablo Santos. "It's usually not just one thing."
The Ghosts' win now puts them at 16-24.
