Polar Bears Pull Even With 6-2 Victory
|
Benefiting from Kilipaki Malamapono's productive game, the Billings Polar Bears downed the Ottawa Nationals, 6-2. Malamapono went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Polar Bears. Today's win puts Billings at 12-12, while Ottawa falls to 11-13.
Early in the game, Malamapono had a 3-run home run for Billings. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Polar Bears on top, 3-0.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Malamapono.
