Atoms Fall to .500 After Loss to Thunder Hawks
|
Garrett Schaper pitched a gem to lead Ft. Polk South to a 3-0 victory over the Bethesda Atoms. Ramón Solís earned the save, his 2nd, for the Thunder Hawks. Ft. Polk South is now 9-9.
Early in the game, center fielder Scott Dourque had a 2-run double for Ft. Polk South. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Thunder Hawks on top, 2-0.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Ft. Polk South manager Mark Harrison.
