Aviators Get Road Win, 6-4
|
Fans who gathered at Cloverdale Legion Park saw a good contest between the Seattle Aviators and Kingston Township Legion.
Behind a solid performance from center fielder Logan Namajunas, the Seattle Aviators defeated the Kingston Township Legion, 6-4. Namajunas went 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Aviators. José Lucero got the win, improving to 7-6. He worked 7 innings, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 5.
Namajunas had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Aviators went on to win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Namajunas said after the game.
The first-place Aviators have a one-game lead in their division.
