Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Todd Henry, the Detroit Renaissance defeated the Chicago Hawks, 3-2. Henry was 2-3 with a home run and a walk for the Renaissance. Detroit has now won 3 in a row.
The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Henry, who is tied for 9th in the 3L with a .293 batting average, hit a solo home run. It propelled the Renaissance into the lead, 2-1.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Chicago manager Alan Starwood said following the tough loss.
