New Orleans catcher Zuberi Mccray had a good game, even if his team did not. The Voodoo dropped a 6-5 decision to Kingston Township at Cloverdale Legion Park. Mccray was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. John Riggleman notched his 18th save in 21 chances. The win puts the Legion at 42-51, while the Voodoo drop to 47-46.
Jim Scott went 1-2 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Kingston Township. The 30-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Alejandro Araya. It was his 43rd walk of the season.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Scott.
