Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC starter Stewart Fleming was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Detroit Renaissance, 4-3. Thunder Bay reliever Cherles Gachineiro got the win, raising his record to 3-3. Esteban Ruíz was tagged with the loss. Thunder Bay now has a 3-game win streak.

Denis Higgins had a nice at-bat for the Northern Lions BC with no one out in the bottom of the tenth. With a runner on 2nd, the second baseman flied out, which would prove important in the Thunder Bay win.
