Pandas Topple 84s with Late Rally
The Montana Pandas took Greenville pitcher Neil Franson's best shot and still were able to claim a win at 84s Field. The final score had Montana getting past the 84s, 4-2. Franson went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 4. Montana reliever Zalontae Hillary was credited with the win, to go to 5-9. Manuel Rodríguez took the loss for Greenville. The Pandas improved to 40-39.

Montana used the timely hitting of Roberto Fierro to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pandas on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Fierro said.
