Legion Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
|
Getting an impressive start from Mick Alston, Kingston Township beat Echo Park by the score of 3-1. Reliever Anthony Ledesma picked up the win. His record improves to 1-2. Dan Hobbs took the loss. Kingston Township has 3 straight wins, Echo Park 3 straight losses.
Júlio Rodríguez had a nice at-bat for the Legion with no one out in the top of the 17th. With the bases empty, the second baseman drew a walk, which would prove important in the Kingston Township win.
Kingston Township manager Rayzor Ray had little to say after the game except that his team was "spent."
