Renaissance Stumble, Lose to Legion

The Kingston Township Legion dealt the Detroit Renaissance a 8-2 loss at Detroit Field. Clarence Neal was the star on offense. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Fernando Espinosa got credit for the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed no runs on 4 hits in 6.2 innings. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Legion.
Neal had a key at-bat for Kingston Township early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and gave Kingston Township an early 2-0 lead.
