Padilla Delivers 7-1 Win
|
New Orleans Voodoo starter Fernando Padilla was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Echo Park Lakers, 7-1. The Voodoo, now 26-31, have won 4 in a row.
Padilla, a native of Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic, was dealing all game. He kept Echo Park hitters off-balance, while giving the Voodoo 8 quality innings. Padilla threw 105 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 5.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Padilla.
