Both teams had their chances, but the Buckhead Bowties eventually prevailed at 5 Paces Park.

The Buckhead Bowties topped the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 5-4, in Menard's Third League action at 5 Paces Park. The player of the game was Buckhead third baseman Raúl Ruíz. Buckhead is now 29-25.

Mesa Altuve was the walk-off hero for Buckhead. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bowties first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring triple to send the teams home.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Ruíz told the Buckhead Daily News.
