1837 BBC Stumble, Lose to Legion
|
Kingston Township pitcher Jason Schneider did his part in helping his team beat the Houston 1837 BBC, 8-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Schneider went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 5, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-0. Kingston Township has now won 4 in a row.
Kingston Township left fielder Ron Bernard changed the complexion of the game in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when he belted a 2-run home run off Prince Nakamura. His 10th home run of the season put Kingston Township in front, 2-1.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Schneider said.
