Buckhead catcher Gabriel Maldonado had a good game, even if his team did not. The Bowties dropped a 4-2 decision to Montana at 5 Paces Park. Maldonado went 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk. Montana has now won 5 games in a row.
Roberto Escues, who is tied for 8th in the 3L with a .390 on-base percentage, helped out the Montana cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder was 1-3 with a walk.
