Buckhead starter António Castillo pitched effectively against the Houston 1837 BBC at Houston Grounds. The left-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. Buckhead has now won 3 straight, while the 1837 BBC have lost 3 in a row.
The Bowties beat the 1837 BBC with some clutch hitting. The single by Roberto Salazar in the top of the fifth is a good example. With two down, Salazar gave his team the lead, 3-2, when he came through with the big hit.
