Buchanan Dazzles in Buckhead Win
|
The Voodoo Lounge was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.
The Buckhead Bowties got a magnificent performance from pitcher David Buchanan, who muffled the New Orleans offense en route to a tight 1-0 Bowties win at The Voodoo Lounge. Tomás Vargas closed the door for Buckhead, picking up his 2nd save of the year.
Buchanan allowed no runs over 7.1 innings. He also racked up 8 strikeouts.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Buchanan.
The Bowties raised their record to 17-21.
