Late Rally by Lynx Secures Win
Calgary Lynx starter Kenny Aarnoutse turned in a top-notch performance against the Plymouth Rocks at Plymouth Quarry. The result was a win for the Lynx, 9-1. Juan Pérez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Octavius Pringle was tagged with the loss. The Rocks drop to 6-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2031 season.

Both teams had trouble scoring runs. So, Yifu Chen's at-bat in the top of the eighth was crucial. With one out, the Calgary first baseman hit a sacrifice fly, to give his team a 2-1 lead.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Aarnoutse, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
