The Plymouth Rocks went home winners at Drummers Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Rafael Méndez. Méndez silenced the Tortolita Drummers, enabling Plymouth to grab the 5-1 win. Méndez went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 4, and struck out 4. His record improves to 1-0. The win gives the Rocks a record of 5-4.

Cosmo Bjorkenheim's at-bat in the top of the third inning was a big one for Plymouth. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Plymouth leading 2-0, the designated hitter drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
