Targaryens Get Past Gryfindor for 1-0 Win
|
The Royse City Targaryens eked out a 1-0 win versus the Gryfindor Braves at Royse City Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Earl Farley, who captured player of the game honors. Ramón Torres got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Royse City.
Alden Wiley took Rodrigo Torres deep in the bottom of the ninth. His solo home run put the Targaryens on top, 1-0. In all, Wiley had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
