The Port Royal Disaster dealt the Athletic Club KC Reserves a 4-2 loss at Ballpark of Port Royal. Ricky Payton was the star on offense. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Esteban García got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 3 innings. Port Royal occupies 9th place in the Silver AAA at 43-53.
Arsenio Sameiro helped out the Port Royal cause in the bottom of the first inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the first baseman was 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Sameiro said.
