Dominant Performance by Beyer in Alloway Win
The Alloway Halberds went home winners at Ballpark of Alloway, thanks in large part to starter Nicholas Beyer. Beyer silenced the Gryfindor Braves, enabling Alloway to grab the 2-0 win. Marcos Sarmiento notched his 16th save in 19 chances. At 45-45, Alloway is in 5th place in the Silver AAA.

Beyer was in the zone all game. He frustrated Gryfindor hitters while giving the Halberds 8 innings of quality work. Beyer threw 92 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 7 punchouts.

Beyer said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
