Disaster Drop Another One
|
The Scranton Supernovas topped the Port Royal Disaster, 3-1, in USSL Triple A action at Nuclear Stadium. The player of the game was Scranton third baseman Alonso Solís. The 9th-place Disaster have lost 5 straight games.
The Supernovas benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the second. With António Granados at bat and Scranton leading 1-0, the Port Royal miscue allowed Scranton to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
"It feels good to get this one," Solís told the Scranton Times.
