The Scranton Supernovas did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Gryfindor Braves at Nuclear Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher NaNomi Lojore, who captured player of the game honors. Scranton, at 35-40, sits in 7th place in the Silver AAA.
The Supernovas got a big at-bat from third baseman Alonso Solís. For the game, Solís went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Scranton a 4-2 lead.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Solís said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
