The inspired effort of Ellenburg catcher Ryan French was not enough to prevent a 10-5 loss to the Alloway Halberds. French was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Antonio Godfrey got the win, improving to 2-2. He worked 7.1 innings, giving up 5 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 3. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Halberds.

In the bottom of the third, Manny Gonzáles hit a 2-run double for Alloway. The 6th double of the season for the Alloway designated hitter put the Halberds on top, 3-1.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Gonzáles told the Alloway Citizen.
