Supernovas Fall Short at Port Royal
The Port Royal Disaster topped the Scranton Supernovas by the score of 7-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Gary Chalmers. Chalmers was 2-6 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Disaster on the day. Port Royal is now 33-36, Scranton 32-37.

Phil Minor had a nice at-bat for the Disaster with no one out in the bottom of the tenth. With a runner on 2nd, the second baseman flied out, which would prove important in the Port Royal win.
