Victory Pushes Fighting Dachsunds Record to 39-20
|
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds topped the Port Royal Disaster, 4-2, in USSL Triple A action at Ballpark of Port Royal. The player of the game was Ellenburg pitcher Dennis Brown. The Fighting Dachsunds have an impressive 39-20 record.
Steve Koch hit a 2-run triple off Masaharu Sakata in the top of the fourth, which put the Fighting Dachsunds in front, 2-0. Koch had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
Koch told a Ellenburg Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
