Supernovas Roll to 8-2 Win Over Battlekings
|
It was a fun time at Nuclear Stadium, where the Naperville Battlekings and Scranton Supernovas tangled.
Scranton Supernovas starter José Cotilla turned in an exceptional performance against the Naperville Battlekings at Nuclear Stadium, resulting in a Scranton win, 8-2. The winning pitcher was Cotilla, now 5-4. He tossed 8.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5.
David Wooderson hit a bases-clearing double off Risto Hannila in the bottom of the second, which put the Supernovas in front, 3-0. In addition to the double, Wooderson had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Wooderson, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
The Supernovas improved to 20-26.
