Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Manny Gonzáles, the Alloway Halberds defeated the Royse City Targaryens, 5-3. Gonzáles went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Halberds. Earning his 8th save for Alloway was Marcos Sarmiento. Alloway is now 20-19, Royse City 18-21.

Gonzáles had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Emershan Naidoo, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Halberds a 5-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Gonzáles.
