Halberds Jolt Fighting Dachsunds with Late Rally
It was a fun time at Ballpark of Alloway, where the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds and Alloway Halberds tangled.

Benefiting from Cisco Hernández's productive game, the Alloway Halberds downed the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 7-5. Hernández was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI for the Halberds. Alloway reliever Marcos Sarmiento got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Garrett Harrington was tagged with the loss.

The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Ethan Stanford came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Ellenburg pitcher Garrett Harrington, he hit a 3-1 fastball for a 2-run double. It was a game-changer, putting Alloway on top, 7-5.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Alloway manager Santiago Vargas.

Alloway, at 17-18, sits in 7th place in the Silver AAA.
