Reserves Edge Past Doubledays, 4-3

Tremont pitcher Leroy Picot gave the Reserves all they could handle, but in the end, Athletic Club KC left KC Reserve Stadium with a 4-3 win. Picot allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 7 innings. Athletic Club KC reliever Ángel Rivera picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Les Edwards shouldered the loss. Athletic Club KC has now won 4 games in a row.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Athletic Club KC left fielder Ramón Morterero, facing Les Edwards, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Reserves the 4-3 win.
