|
Royse City starter Juan Valéncia put a stranglehold on the Gryfindor offense. The right-hander had complete command of his change up in leading the Targaryens to a 4-1 win. Valéncia went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 2, and struck out 2. His record improves to 1-0. Royse City is now 14-16.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, catcher Miguel Herrera came through big-time for the Targaryens. With Royse City leading 1-0, he belted a solo home run.
