Braves Come Back Late to Top Targaryens
|
Gryfindor pitcher Gabe Stephenson did his part in helping his team beat the Royse City Targaryens, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Gryfindor is now 13-16, while Royse City is 13-16.
Brent van Schoonhoven went 1-3 with a walk for Gryfindor. The 31-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Emershan Naidoo. It was his 9th walk of the season.
"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said van Schoonhoven.
