Late Rally by Disaster Secures Win
The Port Royal Disaster topped the Gryfindor Braves, 3-2, in USSL Triple A action at Ballpark of Port Royal. The player of the game was Port Royal pitcher Masaharu Sakata. The win was credited to Jon King in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Suezo Amano took the loss. The Braves, at 5-12, have stumbled out of the gate.

Jesús Vargas was the walk-off hero for Port Royal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Disaster right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Sakata, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
