Battlekings Lose, 4-1, at Doubledays Stadium

It was a fun time at Doubledays Stadium, where the Naperville Battlekings and Tremont Doubledays tangled.
Tremont rode a good effort from starter Mathieu Neri to beat the Naperville Battlekings at Doubledays Stadium. The final score was 4-1. Neri went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-0.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Andrés Gonzáles was at the plate when Tremont scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Doubledays to go in front, 2-1.
"I felt good up there," said Gonzáles. "I saw the ball well."
The Doubledays raised their record to 13-4.
