Benefiting from an exceptional performance from José Zarate, the Alloway Halberds defeated the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 9-4. Zarate went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times for the Halberds. The win takes Alloway to 8-6.

Myron Rosenbalm, who is rated as the 63rd best prospect by BNN, helped out the Alloway cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 5.
