The Naperville Battlekings did just enough to secure a 8-7 victory over the Port Royal Disaster at Constellation Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Risto Hannila, who captured player of the game honors. The Battlekings raised their record to 8-5.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Naperville designated hitter Berihun Tukufu, facing Jon King, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Battlekings the 8-7 win.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Naperville manager Marcus Terry.
