Golden Cranes Need Extras to Top Halberds
Santa Barbara Golden Cranes starter Donald Gregory turned in a sterling performance against the Alloway Halberds, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. With the win, Santa Barbara boosts its record to 8-5.

Tied up with the Halberds in the bottom of the 15th inning, the Golden Cranes got a boost from second baseman Byron Isaacson. With a runner on 2nd, Isaacson saw a 1-2 fastball from Shi-lin Li and hit a run-scoring triple to break the stalemate and put Santa Barbara on top, 3-2.

"It was terrific getting this win," Gregory said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
