The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes knocked off the Royse City Targaryens, 5-3, at Royse City Stadium. Héctor Moreno, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Santa Barbara won. The catcher went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. José Guillén earned the win for Santa Barbara.
