Gryfindor Wins, Martínez drives in 3 runs
|
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from António Martínez, the Gryfindor Braves defeated the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 7-5. Martínez went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Braves. The Braves are off to a tough start, getting just their 3rd win in 12 games.
Early in the game, first baseman Paul Penrice had a 3-run home run for Gryfindor. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Braves on top, 4-2.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Penrice said after the game.
