The Scranton Supernovas did just enough to sneak past the Port Royal Disaster, 9-8, at Ballpark of Port Royal. Scranton right fielder Todd Blankenburg earned player of the game honors. Victor Brey closed the door for Scranton, picking up his 3rd save of the year. Scranton is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 4th in 10 games.

This game was not decided until Alonso Solís came to bat in the top of the tenth. With a runner on 3rd and no one out, the Scranton second baseman hit a sacrifice fly. The Supernovas took the lead, 9-8.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Port Royal manager . "But we decided not to take it."
